dear friends, family, and loved ones,

As most of you know, this year swept me across the country and planted me on the west coast. Amidst the hunt for stable work and trying to write every morning, I felt the urge to get out my guitar and play a few songs for you.

These are songs that have helped me navigate the waters of transition over the years, whether from high school to college, romance to rejection, adolescence to adulthood, or death to life. These songs are pieces of me—pieces I felt were worth sharing.

Sending this music to you is something that resembles embarrassing. I’m by no means a great singer or guitar player, but sometimes you have to be bad at something before you can be good at it. And sometimes the things that embarrass you the most are the things that are worth sharing. Feel free to listen and disagree.
